Frequently Asked Questions About Real Estate Website Development
Here are answers to some of the most common questions I receive. My goal is to be completely transparent about my process, services, and how I work. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
What types of clients and industries do you specialize in?
I focus on creating real estate websites, especially for real estate agents, investors, and developers. I also work on commercial real estate websites. I understand what real estate agents need, like property listings, lead generation, and IDX integration. I also build websites for businesses in education and Islamic organizations.
Why should I hire you from Bangladesh instead of a local agency in my country?
Great question! Here’s why working with me is a smart choice:
Expert Attention: You’ll work directly with me, the founder and lead developer. You won’t get lost in a large agency.
Great Value: I don’t have the high costs of a local agency, so I can offer you high-quality work at a better price.
Trust and Transparency: I believe in clear communication, keeping promises, and building trust. It’s not just a job; it’s a partnership.
What is your process for building a website?
Here’s how I work:
Discovery & Strategy: We start with a free consultation to talk about your goals.
Planning & Proposal: I’ll give you a project plan, timeline, and fixed price.
Development & Feedback: I’ll build your site and keep you updated for feedback.
Launch & Training: After testing, I’ll launch your site and train you to manage it.
How long does a project typically take?
A custom real estate web design usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. If it’s a bigger project, like a large real estate developer website, it may take longer. We’ll agree on a clear timeline before starting.
What will you need from me to get started?
I’ll need your branding materials (like logo and brand colors), content (text and images), and access to your domain/hosting. If you don’t have content, I can help guide you.
What is the difference between Wix, Webflow, and WordPress, and which one do you recommend?
Here’s a breakdown of each:
WordPress: Best for real estate websites that need custom features, like for real estate agents or real estate investors. It’s flexible and powerful.
Wix: Easy to use for small businesses or personal websites but not ideal for big real estate sites.
Webflow: Great for design-focused websites with unique animations, but it requires some design skills.
Do you provide website maintenance and support after the project is complete?
Yes! I offer maintenance and support to make sure your website stays secure and runs smoothly. This includes backups, security updates, and performance checks.
Can you help with SEO for my new website?
Definitely! All of my websites are built with SEO in mind. I also offer SEO setup to make sure your site ranks well on Google and gets seen by potential customers.
What is IDX/MLS integration and why is it important for real estate sites?
IDX and MLS integration lets real estate agents display the most current property listings from the MLS on their websites. It’s crucial for any serious real estate website design because it makes property searching easier for visitors.
How much does a new website cost?
Every website is different, so the price depends on your project. After our initial discussion, I’ll give you a clear price based on your needs.
What are your payment terms? Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I follow a standard payment structure to ensure a commitment from both sides.
A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your project in my schedule and begin the work.
The final 50% is due upon project completion, just before the website is launched.
For larger projects, we can discuss a milestone-based payment plan.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments through credit cards, PayPal, Wise, and bank transfers.
Do you work with clients internationally (e.g., in the USA, UK, KSA)?
Yes, I work with clients all around the world. My business is fully remote, and I’ve built websites for clients in over 25 countries, including the USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.
How do we communicate during the project (e.g., email, calls)?
We’ll mostly communicate through:
Email: For updates, feedback, and official documents.
Scheduled Calls (Zoom/Google Meet): For important meetings and project reviews.
WhatsApp: For urgent questions or quick updates.
How do we manage time zone differences for meetings?
I’m used to working with clients in different time zones. I use scheduling tools to find times that work for everyone, and I’ll always confirm the meeting time in your local time zone.
